Please Be Part of Our Next Ad in an Upcoming Issue of the Downeast Dog News
As the next step in our educational effort, we are raising funds to run another ad in an upcoming issue of Down East Dog News. This ad will list pet care professionals (animal shelters, boarding kennels, breeders, daycares, dog walkers, groomers, humane societies, pet photographers, pet-related media, pet sitters, pet store or other places you buy pet food and supplies, rescues. Shelters, veterinarians, and more.) who have taken the pledge to be shock-free and who have donated to this effort. All those taking the pledge and contributing to the ad will also be listed in the Shock Free Coalition of Maine directory.
You can view our ad below in the November issue of Downeast Dog News (or view as a pdf)
Donation levels are:
- $10 if you are a pet owner/parent or just a concerned citizen and want your name and city listed in the ad
- $25 if you want your name, business name, and city listed in the ad
- $50 if you want your business logo, business name, city, address, phone number, and website to appear in the ad
We are not a non-profit venture and donations are not tax deductible for charitable purposes, but may be as a business expense. Ask your accountant.
Our goal is that these ad will raise awareness and will encourage other pet care professionals and pet parents to also take the pledge, to donate for future ads, and to join the Pet Professional Guild and its members in Maine, in our educational and advocacy efforts.
